This Payment Policy explains checkout for the one-time physical tent kits offered by Wplfb. Our default checkout payment provider is Shopify Payments.
The displayed product price covers the tent body and exact pitch components named in the package list. Campsite furniture, mattresses, sleeping bags, people, vehicles, tools, and scenery shown only as context are not purchased. A tent order is a one-time physical-goods transaction and does not create a campsite booking, installation service, rental, weather service, recurring membership, or equipment subscription. Currency, quantity, shipping, tax, and final total are displayed before authorization.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
Shopify Payments-supported cards and digital wallets that are currently enabled are displayed at checkout.
Only payment methods currently shown at checkout are available for the order, and the storefront payment icons must match those active methods. Only cards or eligible digital wallets currently displayed by Shopify Payments are accepted. Support will not request mailed cash, a complete card number, card security code, online-banking password, or one-time authentication code. One product quantity represents one complete listed shelter kit; adding another quantity creates another kit rather than adding a pole or stake individually.
SSL ENCRYPTION & DATA PROTECTION
Transactions are submitted through Shopify Payments using encrypted checkout connections. Sensitive payment credentials remain within Shopify's protected payment environment.
Customers should review the final checkout amount before payment; card credential handling remains inside the secure Shopify payment flow.
PCI-DSS COMPLIANCE LEVEL 1
Shopify maintains Level 1 PCI-DSS compliance for its payment environment. Our store receives the transaction status and order information needed to process the purchase.
NO CREDIT CARD STORAGE
We do not collect, store, or have access to complete card numbers or card security codes. Payment credential verification is handled by Shopify Payments and the relevant financial institution.
TRANSACTION CURRENCY & TRANSPARENCY
All prices on our website are listed and charged in United States dollars, shown with the $ symbol and USD currency code. The total final price, including applicable shipping costs, will be clearly itemized and displayed at the checkout page before you authorize payment. At checkout, Standard Shipping: $0.00 USD and Tax: $0.00 USD. We never charge any hidden processing fees, handling fees, or unannounced taxes.
Payment Authorization and Capture
Authorization applies to the complete checkout amount, not as separate charges for fabric, poles, stakes, guylines, rainfly, or carry bag. Fulfillment begins after Shopify Payments reports successful authorization. A temporary pending entry from a bank or wallet is not evidence that the tent has shipped and is not automatically a duplicate order. The successful confirmation record controls the model and quantity prepared for dispatch.
Billing Information
Customers must provide accurate billing information. Orders may be delayed or canceled if billing details cannot be verified, payment is declined, or fraud review is required.
Failed or Pending Payments
If payment fails or remains pending, the order may not be processed. Customers may need to contact their bank, card issuer, or payment provider to resolve payment issues.
Fraud Review
A transaction may be held when issuer response, billing data, address information, device signals, or order velocity suggests possible unauthorized activity. That review concerns payment security and does not require a customer's trip plan or campsite. If limited verification cannot resolve the issue, the order may be canceled and any captured funds returned through the original payment method.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Shopify Payments. Bank, card issuer, or wallet processing times may vary after the refund is submitted.
TAXES AND DUTIES
No taxes, duties, or other government charges are added to the order at checkout. The Tax field displays $0.00 USD. Customers pay only the product total shown before payment because standard shipping is also $0.00 USD.
